Trivia: Can You Guess Where It Is?

Next week we will be studying a country that:

~Doubles in size every winter, by 40,000 miles a day.
~Has no capital
~Is shared by many countries.
~Covers every time zone in the world.
~Is the best place on earth to find meteorites.
~Is colder than the North Pole.
~Regularly has winds of 200 mph.

Can you guess where it is?

RIGHT! Antarctica!

Please vote in the poll- "Which time zone does Antarctica use?"
it would be fun if you guessed, then I would see what you
geography peeps think it is before you look it up on Google!

Vote once- NO changing answers!

POLL CLOSED: Each of the four countries received 2 votes
(South America, New Zealand, Africa or Australia)

The answer is NEW ZEALAND! Antarctica may be shared by many
countries, but all the people "living" there need to use
the same time. New Zealand is the place you go to to get to
Antarctica, so that is why they use NZ time!
